Am I missing something? Executing spell in markdown document does nothing even if there are words that a 100% wrong. spell-next also makes nothing. I’d appreciate if there was a doc for this feature somewhere but I haven’t found one.
Do you provide lang param to spell? Like:
spell en-US
Do you have [ai]spell installed? I suppose those are dependencies.
Maybe we need better prompts / feedback on the spell command?

No, I use hunspell in my system. Weird that spell shows nothing in *debug* buffer if no dependency is installed. I’ll try with spell.
Yes it works with both aspell and aspell-en installed. Previously I’ve had only aspell alone
