# Tmux 3.0rc

Hi. I’m not a Tmux user myself, but I know for sure that many of kakoune users are.

The estimated release time of the final version is in July but this changelog gives a good overview of what’s coming:

Is there anything in the list above that will facilitate the interaction or usage with kakoune?

Still no ability to fix size of a pane.

I am just tired of tmux renaming config values and breaking backwards config compatibility.

I mean I would like to lock the size of a pane to keep it while resizing other panes or even window. But that’s not the option unfortunately.

By now I’ve just accepted the fact every tmux update needs a config change
