Just added the it command to Connect to get the current buffer.

Example – From a connected terminal, render Markdown for the current buffer with Glow:

glow $(it) # Equivalent to `get val buffile`

Connect is by far my most used plugin, nothing else even comes close. I use this every single time I use kakoune.
