I have written a minimal one-color customizable colorscheme

Hello everyone !

I’ve created a colorscheme with “one” accent color, greys and terminal attributes : dabruin.kak
It’s heavily inspired by vim-bruin, and I truly think it has allowed me to concentrate more and retrieve information quicker. Plus, high contrast themes are always a good idea for your eyes.

The idea was to have sane defaults that can be used directly, but let the user customize their accent color through a kakoune option
Default colors scores high, in this contrast checker at least

I’ve written an article about why I wrote dabruin.kak and what made me change from everforest to a minimal colorscheme (i only talk about me ahahah).

Hey @Nasmekva it looks like https://git.sr.ht/~nasmevka/dabruin.kak no longer exists. Would you be willing to either republish so that I can fork it or provide a copy of the repo here?

Hi @seminorm !

I have since moved from kakoune and deleted my sourcehut account, sorry for the dead link !

Feel free to start a new git repository using this archive of the last version of the project I could find :sun_with_face:

dabruin.kak.zip (89.9 KB)

Thank you @Nasmekva!

I really appreciate it, thank you for letting me keep this going. Best of luck with whatever you’re doing next!
