Hi frens, I just made a plugin that you may find useful, it takes a selection and
turns it into a rectangle.

I reimplemented it in bash, now it works instantaneously 
Now you can run this bad boy even if your rectangle spans blank lines or lines too short, it will behave in a very sensible way.
