Strategies for bridging kakoune IRC to Discourse?

I struggle with IRC for a number of reasons (eg. different client devices, lack of always-on client, intermittent interest) so I wonder if there is a strategy (or proposal) for mirroring or reflecting some of the IRC goodness over to here?
As someone with sporadic need to interact with the community, I appreciate the asynch and archival benefits of Discourse.

Bridging real-time-chat to a forum like Discourse tends not to work very well - chat is a lot noisier, and people tend to talk in ways that are not very archive friendly (and in fact, perhaps shouldn’t be archived).

That said, there’s other branches of the Kakouniverse that might fit you better - there’s a Discord server that is quite lively, and a Matrix chatroom that I hang out in to answer questions when I can. Both of those can handle different client devices, and have server-side state so you don’t need an always-on client to participate.

Oh, I see what you mean.
Actually, I respect the difference between synchronous chat and long form, so I suppose the Bridge is not such a good idea.
